Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package ziti pasta, cooked al dente
- ½ lb ground beef
- 24 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce, divided
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium skillet, brown ground beef, breaking up any clumps.
- In a bowl, mix egg, ricotta cheese, and seasonings. Add parmesan cheese and ½ of the mozzarella cheese.
- Combine mixture with brownded ground beef, cooked ziti, and 1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce.
